Dividends on all share/savings accounts except for the Christmas Club account are based on the average daily balance and are compounded and credited quarterly, with a dividend period of a calendar quarter. The Christmas Club dividend is compounded and credited annually, with a dividend period from October 1 to September 30. The only accounts requiring a minimum opening deposit are the Regular Share Account ($1.00) and the Kirby Kangaroo Account ($1.00). Regular, Trust and Special Share accounts require a minimum balance of $50.00 to earn the stated annual percentage rate. Kirby Kangaroo accounts require a $1.00 minimum. Some limitations on transfers and withdrawals, as well as other details, apply to the various share accounts listed above.
